Meeting Miggy
Miggy spent her childhood in India and expect that my love of the colour, smells and sounds that I experienced there influence my art today.
Sailing the Seas

Tumbling In – Miggy Flux
When she retired from nursing 12 years ago she lived aboard a sailing yacht for 5 years visiting 15 countries. The vibrant colours, extrovert peoples and ancient scenery prompted her to paint using watercolours to capture the magic she beheld.

Sunset at Hatchet
She now enjoys painting in oils especially using a palette knife. Each painting is a new challenge for her. She majors in land/sea scapes, living, as she does, with the sea to the south and the Forest to the North.

Oyster Catchers – Miggy Flux
She loves animals and as well as her sea and land scapes , she takes commissions for painting dogs and cats in soft pastels.
We have a collection of Miggy’s work here in the gallery , so do pop in and have a look at what we fell in love with!
