Jenny Birchall

Jenny Birchall has been living and working in Cornwall for the past 20 years and has found that one of the most interesting things is the diverse selection of people who are brought together here for the purpose of a holiday. People who wouldn’t normally come within 100 yards of one another in their day to day lives are suddenly half naked and within feet of each other on a beach.
As she started to paint beach scenes, bizarre combinations of people arrived – Cornwall has become populated by rock stars, gay icons, film stars and sometimes even the occasional artist.

The Beatles have never split up in Jenny’s Cornwall and where else would you find all the Doctor Whos hanging out together, Michelangelo’s David wearing pink pants, Grayson Perry playing beach tennis with Van Gogh and Ghandi dancing with Pamela Anderson.

Jenny paints specific commissions for special birthdays, weddings, high days and holidays – we are happy to put you in touch with her!
