Kim Weiler is a local Milford On Sea artist, who creates beautiful wooden sculptures. Her pieces include wonderful gorse animals, as well as pretty bird boxes fit for some very lucky birds!
Kim was born in Milford on Sea… in the room above the old post office! For a time, her parents ran The Crown- which is now The Smugglers- and Kim has many happy memories as child growing up in Keyhaven, where they would always be crabbing, sailing and enjoying everything the lovely area offers. Her mother was a dressmaker and knitter, and so she’s always been immersed within a creative environment.
Having ridden ponies from an early age, The New Forest has always been a massive part of the artist’s life, and she also finds connection with it when she collects gorse wood for her sculptures with her dogs.
