Sarah Nicol

Sarah Nicol has been a designer maker since 1996. She works from her studio overlooking the beautiful Malvern Hills in Worcestershire, creating functional decorated ceramics and folk-inspired textiles inspired by her journeys throughout the world.
Her ceramics are made using coloured slips on the clay to create a fabric like effect that echoes the embroidered wool and linen of the textile pieces that inspire them.

Happy days are spent painting pots, bowls and jugs or making cushions and doorstops and embroidering things that inspire her.
